The VYJO is a unique, and free, educational initiative where high school music students get a chance to work in a big band alongside professional members of the VJO! Weekly rehearsals in May-June will culminate in a performance at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
Coming next year will be the addition of a ‘Junior’ VyJO for students between grade 7-9.
